The Global Management Education Landscape: Shaping the Future of Business Schools

Image: Global Management Education LandscapeThe Global Management Education Landscape begins by identifying important global economic and business trends, as well as recent developments in management education.

This insight then leads us to explore the possible implications of these trends on business schools in every region of the world, and to provide five recommendations that can help shape the future of management education.  We present these recommendations in the spirit of stimulating discussion among leaders in the global management education community, as well as among business and government leaders, and policy makers. We encourage you to share it with anyone who may have a need or interest in understanding the global issues and challenges facing today’s complex, dynamic world of management education.

An electronic version of the report (PDF, 901k) is available for viewing or download. To view it you will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software. If you do not have this installed, please visit the Adobe website.

You will also find online profiles of management education in over 50 countries. Questions, comments, or suggestions should be directed to Dan LeClair (dan@aacsb.edu), Vice President and Chief Knowledge Officer at AACSB or Matthew Wood (matthew.wood@efmd.org), Communications Director at EFMD.

The GFME’s mission is ambitious – to become an acknowledged thought leader for organizations involved in business and management education and to support development for the future of this rapidly expanding sector. This volume is an important step towards achieving that ambition and we hope that it will be a catalyst for discussion, debate, and action within our global community.
